Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS) is a dedicated Covid-19 hospital with a testing centre in Greater Noida. The Uttar Pradesh Government announced NIIIMS as an exclusive Covid only hospital and the hospital has started admitting COVID patients from 15th April 2020, providing an air-conditioned paid ward with 300 beds for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. The hospital administration said that the private ward would be affordable for all and while the medical treatment offered would be the same, it will have facilities like air conditioning and privacy for patients. Currently, the hospital has infrastructure for attending up to 35 patients in ICU wards, 35 beds are for critical care patients and 16 Casualty beds are available. NIIMS is currently having 140 doctors, 90 Nursing Staff and 160 Paramedical staff, and GDA as well as Housekeeping staff.
