Along with the demand for beauty care, the need for professionally trained beauty therapists is also increasing. The beauty business is booming. Branding, speciality skills, specialized services and niche products are popular, especially at high end salons. Another new trend is that salons are also offering spa treatments.

Beauty product sales counters are opening in malls and department stores. These require trained personnel too. For example, the sales representatives at our counters are trained in herbal products and on advising customers. They also have basic beauty training. Make-up artists and hairstylists are in demand in the fashion industry, television and film industry. Different make-up services are also offered by beauty parlours. Bridal Make-up, for instance, is one of the popular services being offered nowadays. Beauty Diploma Courses include Hairstyling and Make Up for different occasions. A minimum school leaving certificate is enough to launch into vocational beauty training, yet it gives the opportunity to complete courses right up to an advanced level and also go into related fields.

With the “back to nature” and “total well being” trends that have influenced the beauty world over the past few decades, organic products have become the rage. Formulations made with organic plant products are purer, free from chemicals and richer in nutrients, i.e. they are richer in vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, etc. Organic products also have specific curative and beneficial properties that actually enhance the beauty of the skin and hair. An important advantage is the element of safety. Synthetic preparations and chemical ingredients, on the other hand, can cause allergic and irritative reactions. They can also cause a build-up of toxins in the system, over a period of time. Our beauty courses highlight these aspects and provide natural solutions for beauty care, in keeping with our concept of “herbal care and cure.”
