His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to His Highness the President of the UAE – Supreme President of UAE University, honored in his office yesterday morning the university students who won the “Probe of Hope Literary” competition award.
The competition resulted in the first place for the story “Sailing into the Unknown” by Maryam Al-Saadi, the second place for the story “The Message of Hope” by Mahra Al Kaabi, and the third place for the story “When the Two Moons Met” by Arwa Al Siyabi.
On this occasion, His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh addressed the students by saying: “We are proud that the UAE University embraces the distinguished young women of the country who are keen on creativity, and highlight the bright image of Emirati women who are able to achieve the aspirations and hopes of the nation, and they are living proof of the vision of the founder of the state, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, and his belief in her creative abilities and capabilities.
His Excellency concluded the meeting by saying: “You are the hope and future of this country and the ideal model for the aspirations of future generations. Various fields of honor, pride and leadership. Today, I invite you to continue developing yourself and developing your capabilities, and I am confident that you will always be at the forefront of leadership and innovation for the future.”
The Emirati researcher and writer, Dr. Mohammed Hamdan bin Jarash Al Suwaidi, had recently organized the “Literary Probe of Hope” competition with the aim of discovering young literary talents, motivating them to highlight their creativity, providing critical readings to develop their creative products, instilling creative confidence in them, and removing the fear of facing criticism through dialogue.
