VANS Skilling & Advisory, a Mumbai based niche company that focuses on serving the needs of start-ups, MSME and fast growing organisations, has entered into a strategic alliance with career guidance venture Diffr to make a foray into the tech-driven career counselling and online assessment space. This alliance will help VANS Skilling & Advisory industry-academia collaboration platform YUGMA to get access to XLRI alumni-led startup, Diffr’s AI driven tools for online assessments in the K-12 space.
Through this partnership, Diffr will also be able to leverage the infrastructure and intellect of VANS Skilling at multiple levels.
“We are very glad to join hands with Diffr as this complements our platform YUGMA that serves the needs of B school students. Diffr will bring in access to AI driven tools for online assessments that will help the platform scale. Diffr will continue to operate as an independent company and focus on growth in the K-12 segment” Said Dr. Srinivas Chunduru, founder of VANS Group.
YUGMA over the last one year has seen traction with about 20,000 MBA students representing over 150 B schools in India through innovative master classes, hackathons, dial-a-mentor, case studies and placement support drive.
YUGMA has over 60 industry mentors including CXOs from varied sectors in a quest to improve the employability of the students and present “experienced freshers” to the industry partners.
Mayur, Co-founder Diffr and XLRI graduate, remarked “We are very excited to have VANS Skilling & Advisory onboard with us. Diffr is a cause very close to our heart with millions of students out there confused to pick the right careers. We are looking forward to leverage the infrastructure and intellect of VANS Skilling at multiple levels to help us scale fast and reach all corners of the country to fulfil our mission of creating an informed career decision ecosystem”
Diffr is an online career guidance and mentoring platform started by XLRI Alumni, Mayank Sharma and Mayur Umdekar, to help students pick the right fit careers for them.
Diffr deploys a unique model of using customized assessment tools for both parents and students and then identify the right mentor to give an in-depth knowledge of a career path to students. Diffr also helps in making students future-ready, through various skill workshops.
