VANS Skilling & Advisory, a Mumbai based niche company that focuses on serving the needs of start-ups, MSME and fast growing organisations, has acquired the “Student Development” vertical of Pune based educational consultancy firm -Ozone Education Consultants, in an all stock deal or a slump sale.

Ozone has two business verticals namely “Corporate Solutions” and “Student Development”. The acquisition of the ‘Student Development’ division will help VANS Skilling, led by former OLA Senior advisor Dr. Srinivas Chunduru, to widen its offerings and customer base.

Post acquisition, Shantanu Sen Sharma, former IT leader and founder of Ozone Education Consultants, will take charge as Chairman of the advisory board for YUGMA.

This will help us in widening our offerings and customer base. YUGMA, over the last one year, has seen traction with about 20,000 MBA students representing over 150 B schools in India through innovative master classes, hackathons, dial-a-mentor, case studies, master classes and placement support drive. YUGMA has over 60 industry mentors including CXOs from varied sectors, in a quest to improve the employability of the students and present “experienced freshers” to the industry partners.
