The fourth edition of the Stonehill Founder’s Day Run & Ride, organised by Raadiant Sports, was recently held by Stonehill International School. The event saw over 600 people participating in the different Run & Ride categories including 21K, 10K and 5K.

The Stonehill Founder’s Day Run is an annual event that celebrates the Founder of Stonehill International School, Bangalore. The School was founded in September 2008 by Mr Jitu Virwani, Chairman & Managing Director, Embassy Group.

The Stonehill Founder’s Day Run encourages people to stay active and keep up with their fitness goals. This year, as it was a virtual event, there was widespread participation from individuals across 39 cities in India! Participants came together in this non-competitive event and enjoyed the experience with their families, friends and colleagues.

The virtual race allowed runners to choose their own course and clock in their time throughout the day, after completing the distance. All participants receive a finisher medal through mail.

Stonehill International School will match the total fees raised through registrations and donate it to the Morning Star Ashram, a home for underprivileged children with physical and mental illnesses.

Dr. Brian Brumsickle, Head of Stonehill International School said, “At Stonehill, we encourage our community to lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle. The Stonehill Founder’s Day Run and Ride is an excellent opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate our Founder’s Day in a safe manner.”
