Addressing the Audience High Commissioner of Tanzania to India Baraka Luanda said that “No one could foresee that the new decade of the 21st century would begin with a rapidly unfolding pandemic that indiscriminately attacked both rich and poor countries. The impact of COVID-19 will be pervasive and it has affected all segments of our lives, including politics, society, governance, economy, trade and development. The disease’s most profound and consequential impact, however, has been felt in its ability to reshape the global order as it stands. Global pandemic COVID 19 has taught the world one great lesson that the whole world faces this problem together and the revival will also be possible only if the world stays together.”
High Commission of Nigerian George Barclay Nguher said that” India has the potential to emerge as the preferred destination for higher learning. The Post COVID Economic Order” will allow deliberations from a variety of perspectives to deal with challenges posed by the pandemic COVID 19 and strive to propose strategies to stimulate growth and revival from the imminent recession.
Every challenge comes with a hidden opportunity. This is not the first global disruption we are facing and this definitely won’t be the last. The COVID-19 disruption has given us the opportunity to do away with what has not been working and adapt our systems to a changed external environment, forcing us to be bolder in our outlook and firm in our economic choices.
