Pearl Academy today announced the launch of D School of Business (DSoB) powered by London School of Business & Finance (LSBF). DSoB has been envisioned to offer business and management programs rooted in three ‘Ds’ that are crucial for the success of businesses- disruption, design thinking and digital. Eminent industry leaders Dr Sandhya Chintala, Executive Director, IT-ITeS Sector, Skills Council, NASSCOM; Narayanan Ramaswamy, National Leader, Education and Skill Development, KPMG India, Harish Narayanan, Chief Marketing Officer, Myntra, Sharad Mehra, CEO, Global University Systems, Asia-Pacific joined Aditi Srivastava, President, Pearl Academy and Karina Kizhner, Managing Director, LSBF during the virtual launch of DSoB. They also discussed what do upcoming business leaders need to lead in an uncertain world.

DSoB, that has started accepting applications for the academic year 2022, offers post-graduate diploma in management (PGDM) program, approved and recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Department of Higher Education. Business & management aspirants can enrol for the PGDM program with an option to choose electives in the specialized areas of (1) Entrepreneurship, Start-up and Family Business, (2) Digital Business and E-commerce, (3) Business Analytics and Data Science and (4) Marketing and Communication.

DSoB also offers under-graduate program in fashion & lifestyle business management with specializations in fashion and luxury business, post-graduate program in fashion business marketing & merchandising with specializations in merchandising and fashion entrepreneurship and post-graduate program in luxury business. There are under-graduate and post-graduate programs available with global pathway option in global digital business and leadership in digital transformation. Students enrolled in global pathway programs can opt to take credit transfer to Pearl Academy’s academic partner institutes in Germany and Canada.

The programs and specializations offered at DSoB are well-curated as per the current and future business trends and the rise of start-ups. These will be delivered through Pearl Academy’s and LSBF’s learner-centric pedagogy that emphasizes on tech-enabled learning, global experience and right industry exposure. Through the unique incubation and start-up initiative, ‘Runway’, students will get the much-needed launch pad to test their business ideas, receive funding and kick-start their entrepreneurial ventures.
