In recent years, Jaipur has established its own identity in terms of quality education. Now the students of educational institutions here are becoming the choice of multinational companies. Companies which have so far turned to institutes like IIT-NIT for campus placement are now recognizing the talent of the students of Jaipur and offering them lucrative jobs.

Jaipur Engineering College and Research Campus (JECRC) Foundation has made a grand start to the new placement for batch 2022. According to the released data from the first phase by the foundation, so far 847 students have got job offers with a salary hike of 40 percent compared to last year. A package of 7 lakh has been offered to more than 140 students and a package of 5 lakh per annum has been offered to more than 360 students.

World’s top multinational companies included in Fortune-500; Companies like HPE, Deloitte, Infosys, LTI, Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture and Cloudera, Infoedge, ZS Associates have offered much better packages this time to JECRC students. It is to be informed that at present the campus placement drive is going on in JECRC and more than 39 MNCs are joining in the second phase.

Prajwal Gidwani, one of the students who have been offered a package of Rs 44 lakh, attributed his success to the Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) and practical classes. Prajwal said, “It is because of CRT and practical training conducted throughout the course that I and other students have been able to get Amazon offers of 44 lakhs per annum.”

A surge in the number of female selections

JECRC girl students have also got great offers this season. Top companies have offered excellent salaries to about 70 percent of the Female Candidates. Krati Mitra, a student who got a package of 23 lakhs from Cloudera, said that JECRC works hard on its students. As a result of that, the students here get jobs in big companies at good salaries.

Arpit Agarwal, Director, JECRC Foundation, said that the growing faith in JECRC among the students has inspired us to work harder as an institution. “After Covid-19 phase, companies are now offering jobs to students by taking interviews in virtual mode as well. This has given our students more opportunities to showcase their talents. The credit for this success goes to the pre-placement training and hard work of the students. These successes of JECRCians will continue to inspire the existing students,” he added.
