Hero Vired, India’s premium LearnTech Company for professionals and higher education aspirants, hosted a curated in-person experience opportunity for its learners in Bengaluru. The offline meet-up brought together several renowned startup founders and HR leaders across the country with an aim to bring industry and academia a step closer. The event was attended by 30 learners. Mr. Vishwanadh Raju – Head of Talent Acquisition & Sourcing Strategy at Dun & Bradstreet addressed the learners’ queries about pursuing a career path that’s most suited for them as well as shared lessons and insights from his own growth journey.

Vishwanadh’s session on ‘Developing Competencies to Work @ MAANG companies’ focused on making learners industry-ready for jobs. He emphasized the significance of skills and building a strong portfolio by taking up projects and internships and enhancing one’s Linkedin profile. The session also covered hacks for creating a stand-out resume and discussed the importance of mentorship to chalk out a plan to work at a top company or land up a dream role.

The event also witnessed Dipyaman Sanyal – Head of Academics, Dr. Ankur Sodhi – AVP Careers Services and Aavneet Johar – Director of Delivery, address the attendees on the importance of various programs and projects, interaction with the faculties, importance of career coaching and soft skills, respectively. Hero Vired’s faculty members from Data Science, Fullstack and Finance Programs were also present at the event.

The session was a part of Hero Vired’s in-person meet-up series called VConnect. This was the second such in-person meet-up in two weeks. The inaugural session was held in Hyderabad which brought together some renowned startup founders and HR leaders from the region.  Industry leaders like Suman Lakkimsetty, Talent Acquisition Leader at Darwinbox, Kadiyam Bala Sai Kishore, IIoT Software Engineer at Siemens, Narayanan S, Co-founder & CBO at Unschool, Shamsher Ali, Vice President, Mshah Info Technologies and Vishwajit Nerkar, Hiring Partner at HighRadius interacted with learners.

As COVID-related constraints have lifted, the company aims to continue organizing such multi-city meet-ups in the near future. This is one of several efforts by Hero Vired to overcome the skill gap in India and prepare learners for new-age jobs and careers.

In the last year, Hero Vired has seen a 30% increase in revenue month on month with a strong faculty pool and collaborations with highly regarded universities like MIT, USA, Codecademy, INSEAD, and leading brands like LaLiga, Delhi Capitals as well as ecosystem partners like NSDC among others. The company also has an exclusive ESOPs program for its full-time faculty members and teaching assistants and expects its valuation to increase by 20 times from its current size over the next three to four years, offering a lucrative wealth creation opportunity to its faculty pool.
