Grantham University, an online university, has announced today that it is offering military members, first responders and certified patient care workers reduced out-of-pocket education expenses through its Heroes Program.

The program offers a discounted tuition rate of $250 per credit hour (for both undergraduate and graduate programs), complimentary textbooks and software and waived technology fees. In addition, the program offers a complimentary Prior Learning Assessment to allow students to earn credits for their military training, work experience and prior college coursework, furthering reducing the cost of their program.

“Grantham University is committed to serving those who serve their country and community, and the Heroes Program is just one way we make higher education accessible for the nation’s heroes,” said Lindsay Bridgeman, interim president of Grantham University. “We are proud to help all military members, first responders and certified patient care workers achieve their educational and career goals.”

Eligibility for the Heroes Program will be determined by Grantham’s financial aid office at the time of admission to the university and will continue as long as the student remains enrolled
