GeeBee Education in association with Leap, South Asia’s largest end-to-end study abroad platform is organising two study abroad fairs in Kerala at Kochi and Kottayam. The UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Singapore, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Australia are among the countries participating in the education fairs. Students can discover top universities of their choice across these countries and know more about their desired programs from the university/college officials. The Kochi event is scheduled to take place at Marriot Hotel on 6th August, 2022 from 10:30 am – 4 pm. The event at Kottayam will take place on 7th August, 2022 at Windsor Castle Leisure Hotel from 11am – 3:30pm.

With over 100 universities and colleges participating, and more than 2500 students and parents expected to attend, the two education fairs will see high interest from study abroad aspirants in Kerala interested to pursue overseas education. Aspirants will also be able to avail spot admissions and scholarship opportunities after on-site assessments of relevant documents. Some of the top participating universities across countries include Algonquin College of Ottawa, Durham University, Fanshawe College, George Brown College, Georgian College, Sheffield Hallam University, University of Hertfordshire, De Montfort University, Coventry University, University of Portsmouth etc.

Commenting on the education fair, Mr. Upesh Savla, Director, GeeBee Education remarked, “We have witnessed high demand for overseas education from Kerala in the past couple of years. Student applications from the state have surged by 150% annually and there is a high aspiration amongst students to pursue global education and exposure. With the fair, we want to provide students with an opportunity to meet representatives from their dream institutes and clear all their queries in person.”

Some of the popular destination preferences of students from Kerala wanting to go abroad include countries like Canada, the UK, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Finland, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Poland etc. Most applications received from the state are for courses in Engineering, followed by Healthcare/Medical, and Business.
