D-School of Business powered by Pearl Academy and London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) today announced the appointment of Dr. Franco Gandolfi its Dean. Prior to joining D-School of Business, Prof. Dr. Franco served as a Member of the Executive Board of the Nguyen Hoang Group in Vietnam. He was also the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of Manipal International University (MIU) in Malaysia.

Previously, he held dean and senior professor positions at the Canadian University of Dubai, the University of the South Pacific, Fiji, California Baptist University in Riverside, California, and Central Queensland University in Sydney, Australia. Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi holds an adjunct full professorship in leadership with Georgetown University in Washington DC, a Global Top 20 Research University. He was also the inaugural MBA Director and Full Professor of Management at Regent University, a prestigious private university in the USA.

Speaking on Dr. Franco Gandolfi’s appointment, Aditi Srivastava, President, Pearl Academy said, “I am delighted as Dr. Gandolfi joins us as the Dean of D-School of Business, which aims to reimagine business education by being disruptive, design-thinking centric and digital oriented. His global perspective and experience as an academician, researcher and a business leader makes him a perfect fit to lead this school. With over 30 years of experience in the education, finance, and pharmaceutical industries, Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi has held leadership positions across the world including countries such as Switzerland, Australia, the United States, Fiji, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Ghana. Prior to his academic career, he held consulting roles at Novartis, Roche, Credit Suisse, and UBS Bank in Switzerland. He is the principal author of seven business related books and editor of two books on leadership.

Commenting on his appointment as the Dean, D-School of Business, Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi said, “I am privileged to lead this new and unique School and excited at the possibilities of it being a game-changer. Recent economic crises have shown that leaders are ill-prepared and struggle to navigate their respective organizations through turbulent times. We need business leaders that show a tremendous amount of agility, flexibility, adaptation, tenacity, and foresight. A lot of it has to do with a mindset that allows business leaders to adapt to and align with new realities. At D-School of Business, we will be preparing students to lead by demonstrating a high degree of integrity and a clear moral compass during periods of change.”.

Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi is an active researcher and avid writer. He is the principal author of seven books and editor of two leadership books. Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi’s scholarly portfolio includes more than 60 peer-reviewed research articles published in top-tier international journals. He has served on a number of international boards and has been a judging panel member for the prestigious Australian Human Resources (HR) Awards. Prof. Dr. Franco Gandolfi holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Southern Cross University, Australia. He also earned a Post-Doctorate Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, USA, an Ivy League University. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Commerce from the Swiss Institute of Commerce and Economics, Switzerland. Additionally, he completed his Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Sydney, Australia.
